Most Worshipful Grand Master Bill Shepard made an official visitation to Toccoa Lodge No. 309 as the Lodge celebrated its 150th Anniversary.The evening was marked by strong fellowship and a full house of Brethren, families, and community leaders. In attendance were three Grand Line Officers, three District Deputy Grand Masters, and representatives from three Masonic Districts, 8, 9, and 11. A total of 78 Master Masons, along with wives and family members, gathered to honor this milestone. Brethren from neighboring South Carolina lodges were also present for the celebration.The event reflected the Lodge’s deep connection to the local community. The Magistrate Judge, Probate Judge, Vice Mayor, and two local college presidents from Toccoa and Stephens County joined the celebration as special guest speakers.A great meal was shared, and the hospitality of the Brethren of Toccoa Lodge was warmly appreciated. Brotherhood and fellowship were on full display at Davidson Lodge No. 334, where Grand Master Bill Shepard joined the Brethren for a wonderful evening of fellowship and unity.The night brought together 3 Grand Lodge Officers, 2 District Deputy Grand Masters, 30 Brothers, and 5 ladies, showing the strong support for Masonry in the district.Before the meeting, everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal prepared by the lodge featuring pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, and Brunswick stew—a true taste of Georgia hospitality.Grand Master Shepard continues to encourage the Craft across the state through his theme for the year, “Be Humble – Make a Difference.” Gatherings like this remind us that Masonry is strengthened through fellowship, shared meals, and time spent together as Brothers and family. ...
