Monday night at Ducktown Lodge No. 572, the Grand Master, MWB Mark Bradley, made his official visitation and delivered a night full of meaning and Masonic pride. He presented a 50-Year Service Award and recognized three newly raised Master Masons with their proficiency certificates. One especially moving moment occurred when a young Master Mason was presented with his grandfather’s Masonic rings by the Grand Master, along with the family's cherished Masonic Bible, which had been handed down to him by his grandfather.Assistant Director of the District Deputies, WB Bill Lord, spoke about the vital work our DDGMs do for the fraternity. Grand Chaplain WB Douglas Koschel shared heartfelt reflections from his 90+ lodge visits this year, speaking to the depth of Brotherhood he’s witnessed across the state. This past Saturday, the 10th District Convention was held at Benevolent Lodge No. 3 in Milledgeville. Most Worshipful Grand Master Mark A. Bradley was in attendance, along with several Grand Lodge officers, as the Brethren gathered for a day of fellowship and celebration.Michael Schaefer was honored with the E. Alton Rogers 10th District Mason of the Year Award. A 70-Year Apron was presented to Morris Vernon Wood of Irwinton Lodge No. 150, and WB Thomas Scott was recognized for his service as a Custodian Emeritus. WB Steven Fishman was installed as Master of the 10th District, along with the newly elected officers.
